Event Day Highlights
Students circled the playground and campus perimeter, danced it out at the finish line station, and grabbed a well-earned orange at the finish line. Grown ups made posters and grabbed a purple pom-pom to cheer and dance alongside their students. Those passing by honked and cheered with us. The McPherson Badger was out cheering, dancing, high-fiving, and posing for photos. We saw epic costumes. We showed up in full force!
Why it Matters
Every dollar raised goes directly to field-trip programming for our Badgers — which means more hands-on learning experiences for every student at McPherson, more access to the opportunities outside of the classroom, and gaining those special experiences made possible entirely by this community.
Thank You
To every family who donated, shared, walked, cheered, or volunteered — thank you. To every staff member and teacher who helped the day run smoothly and supported the event – thank you. Special thanks to Ryan Fisher and Katy Powell for planning and running the day, and to local businesses Powell Pilates, Platform Coworking, Club Pilates and Fit City Kids for their support. This event doesn't happen without our collective effort. We feel so fortunate to be part of this community.
